I had the honour of taking part in Art in the Park in September 2023. This is a huge art show held at Eden Park with 100 artists and over 12,000 visitors.
I have never taken part in an art show of this scale and it was a great learning experience. It was a crazy, awesome, intense, rollercoaster of a week.
I am very much an introvert and battle with chronic fatigue, so stepping out of my shell and talking to people for 5 days straight was intense but also connecting with people who were interested in my work was a real highlight.
Meeting so many amazing artists who are all supporting each other was also a real highlight and I was grateful to sell a few pieces.
Huge thanks to the Art in the Park team as they are an incredible group of humans whose unwavering support and enthusiasm for artists is a very special thing in the arts industry.
