Artist Notes to Self #1: Embrace Imperfection
I really needed this note today! My inner perfectionist has stopped me many times from starting projects, and sometimes from finishing them.
I was editing video and audio clips for future online workshops realising how far out of my comfort zone I am in front of the camera 😳😬 I have put off releasing content because I constantly feel like I’m doing it terribly, just being super awkward 🥴
But I am learning to embrace the process, and understand that the process is so much more important than the outcome.
Not focussing on what something will look like and rather just finding the joy in the creation process and seeing where it takes me.
Any one else fall victim to their inner perfectionist?
