S2 E14: Motherhood in the corporate creative world with Genevieve Chunn | Commercial Creative Leader

This week's creative conversation is with Genevieve Chunn, a commercial creative leader, and mother to two kids who are 6 and 9. Gen's background is in advertising and TV creative, she has worked as a creative director, and is currently Head of Creative in a PR agency. She is also the main breadwinner for her family.

Gen has stoked her creative fire in recent years with the publication of a children's book she illustrated, curating a group art show featuring her friends from Elam and life, oil portraiture painting, illustrated pet portraits, and experimental cake decorating. She'll also dance up a storm to music at any opportunity she can.

About your host:

Kate Hursthouse is an artist, creative business owner and single mother to one awesome kid. She has run her own creative business since 2014 and has been involved in a whole range of projects over the years - from commercial illustrations and design projects to contemporary art, children’s book illustrations and hand painted murals.

She started this podcast to try and answer the question: how do we continue to be creative and produce creative work, while raising children? Her goal is to create a little corner of the internet where creative mothers share their stories and gain a feeling of community, understanding and inspiration.
